Private Care & Support for Lancashire Families

One on one, discreet, continuity-led personal care and lifestyle support for families in Lytham, St Annes, Lancaster and the Ribble Valley who want more than standard agency visits.

I support families who want more than care — offering consistent, dignified, deeply personal support that brings confidence and peace of mind.

Through consistent presence, dignity-focused personal support, and thoughtful companionship, I ensure your loved one feels safe, respected, and genuinely known — while you regain confidence, clarity, and peace of mind.

I only work with a small number of families to maintain exceptional standards and personal continuity.

A bit about me…

I have spent many years supporting people at some of the most important and vulnerable stages of their lives. My background spans NHS community support visits, observation monitoring , advanced wound care and venepuncture, personal care, and wellbeing — but at the heart of my work has always been one simple belief: care should feel human.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with families navigating challenging circumstances, offering not only practical support but calm reassurance and continuity. I understand how overwhelming it can feel when someone you love needs more help, and how difficult it is to find support that truly feels right.

My approach goes beyond task-based care. I value dignity, presentation, conversation, and identity. Whether supporting personal care, accompanying someone out into the community, or simply sitting and talking, I believe people should feel respected, known, and comfortable in their own home.

Having developed strong relationships within local health services, I bring both experience and quiet confidence to the families I support. I work with a small number of clients to ensure consistency, trust, and a deeply personal standard of care.

This isn’t agency care. It’s a considered, private arrangement built on continuity, discretion, and genuine connection.

After my recent stroke, Sophie was an incredible source of support. Her patience, kindness and genuine care made a very difficult time much easier to cope with.

Losing my confidence after a fall was very difficult for me. Sophie provided such reassuring companionship and helped me to appointments when I felt unable to go alone. Her kindness and patience made a real difference.

Margaret T.

Sophie has been a wonderful support to me. She helped with preparing meals and keeping my home tidy, but what meant the most was her companionship. She always took the time to listen and made each visit something I looked forward to.
